Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division awarded a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) term modification to previously awarded contract N6339424C0004. This procurement provides in-service engineering and life cycle support services for the Independence-class Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) in support of the Digital Engineering Department of NSWC PHD. General Dynamics Mission Systems Inc. (GDMS) is responsible for providing overall in-service engineering and life cycle support for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems and Intelligence (C5I) systems critical engineering; design; integration; test and evaluation; software development, testing, and load; system upgrade/replacement planning on board and at sites; logistics product development and distribution; configuration management of the systems and logistics products; as well as training systems. These activities will be executed in support of the shipboard LCS C5I equipment, components, software, training and support equipment.
