AMENDMENT 01 UPDATES THE BRIDGE PERIODS OF PERFORMANCE. THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Due to GAO protest, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Aircraft Division, Patuxent River intends to award a sole source bridge contract to Precise Systems, Inc. The period of performance is anticipated to be a thee (3) month base period and three (3) 1-month options. This bridge contract will ensure the continuation of program management services to the H-60 Multi-Mission Helicopter Program Office, PMA-299 at Patuxent River, MD. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Specifically, award to any other source would result in unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencys requirements. See 10 U.S.C. 3204(b)(B)(ii); FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B).
