This is a request for information/market survey. This is not a request for proposal, request for quote, or an invitation for bid. There will be no solicitation, specification, or drawings available at this time. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic is soliciting comments from the public addressing the potential use of Project Labor Agreements (PLA) for the following construction project. The construction project is for a P1102 Weapons Magazine and Ordnance Operations Facility, Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Connecticut. The work includes construction of six (6) Containerized Long Weapons Storage (CLWS), two (2) Type G, and one (1) Type H earth-covered, high-explosive magazines including overhead cranes, and incidental related work. Magazine construction will consist of foundations, walls, reinforced concrete floors, entrance and loading aprons, grounding and lightning protection systems; intrusion detection systems (IDS) and earth-covering.
