Subject: The VA National Tele-EEG and Tele-Epilepsy program (NTEEG-EP) is seeking information from industry in order to create a program for the provision of critical ambulatory electroencephalogram (EEG) technical support services for Veterans to address the current challenges of long wait times, especially in geographically remote locations, and the shortage of qualified technical staff infrastructure. These services will enhance the care and quality outcomes for Veterans through timely and efficient EEG testing services. It is the NTEEG-EP program s intent to create an initial contract encompassing a minimum of three locations, with the possibility for options for additional locations to be added. Current plans are to include Northport New York, Gainesville Florida and Detroit Michigan as initial locations. The services required involve providing comprehensive EEG recordings at the Veterans home. Certified, trained personnel will set up and acquire comprehensive EEG recordings for a minimum of forty-eight hours in duration, including those with and without video.
