SLAC B040A Metrology Lab Design-Bid-Build The B040A Metrology Lab Project is a key infrastructure modernization initiative within SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory's broader mission to support next-generation quantum measurement technologies. The project entails demolition and reconfiguration of approximately 1,465 square feet of laboratory space. The renovated areas will support a Metrology and Packaging Lab, including ISO6 clean tent space, cryogenic systems, wet tools, and data acquisition equipment. New finishes, structural reinforcement, equipment anchorage, and MEP upgrades (including 480V service and card reader infrastructure) are included.
