The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, layouts of work features, and supervision needed to complete paving.Project construction will generally consist of the following items of work:? The Contractor shall apply a tack coat conforming to VDOT Item 310-1 on all areas to be resurfaced. Tack coat shall be placed at 0.10 gallons per square yard. ? The Contractor shall place a 2 inch surface course of asphalt concrete pavement on all areas, surface course must conform to VDOT Item 315-1. Asphalt will begin at the entrance to the project office from main road and shall continue up thru the Main office parking area, 4000 square yards. All paving will be full depth. The existing parking area has an existing gravel base.? Contractor shall ensure all paving will drain water without any water standing. Contractor shall prepare the site to avoid any low or high spots before paving. ?
