This notice is not a Solicitation, nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any effort expended in responding to this notice, nor will the Government accept proposals as a result of this notice. ***Solicitation W912BU26BA002 is expected to be released on or about 08 OCT 2025*** PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District on behalf of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), has a requirement to remediate the former Franklin Slag (MDC) site. The Site is located at the northeast corner of Castor and Delaware Avenues in Philadelphia, PA in an industrial siting. The site consists of approximately 70,000 cubic yards of recycling slag associated with the former Franklin Slag smelting facility. This stockpile is impacted with hazardous levels of lead, and detectable levels of RCRA 8 metal. The site is secured with a chain link fence and the stockpile capped with a HDPE liner.
