The FFP contract was not awarded competitively. DISA requires a six-month follow-on bridge contract for services in order to maintain continuity of support while a competitive acquisition is being pursued in FY 2026. The awardee is the only reaonable vendor that can provide seamless continual support based on their history of providing support under the predesscessor contract IAW FAR part 13.
