Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for a five (5) year Firm Fixed Price and Cost Plus Fixed Fee Type, Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) to support the MPRA CSHW with efforts to include Hardware, Repair/Rework and Maintenance, Engineering Support Services, Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Redesign and Modification, Data Collection, Logistics Support Services and Travel. A BOA is the most appropriate contracting mechanism for this requirement because NSWC Crane anticipates multiple individual orders for CSHW support over the next five years. The need for these supplies and services is recurring and the requirements are subject to rapid change due to the dynamic nature of the operational environment. A BOA will provide the flexibility to quickly issue orders to meet emergent needs without the delays associated with issuing individual contracts. Delivery requirements will vary based upon each order placed under the BOA. The estimated ceiling amount for all orders is $96,700,000.
