N0016426SNB07-0001 - This amendment is being issued to provide National Stock Number (NSN) for the Long Life Gyroscope. NSN - 6615-01-063-7235 Sources Sought (SS): The United States Government (USG) is issuing this SS announcement in accordance 5.201 (c) as part of market research. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division is seeking information with regard to the procurement of the Repair and Manufacture of the MK-82 Director Long Life Gyroscope (also known as the Peanut Gyroscope). This is a follow-on to Contract # N00164-24-P-W119. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN intends to award a sole-source contract to U.S. Dynamics, Amityville, NY 11701. This effort will be conducted on a sole source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. The bases for restricting competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements.
