Update 20: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is interested in gathering information regarding commercially available Very High Frequency (VHF) Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR) Systems to validate the FAA acquisition strategy for potential future procurements. Please see attached market survey for additional information, including due dates for questions and responses. Update 19: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has finalized and approved the attached Performance Specifications for the Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) Ground Transponder, FAA-E-37016, Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Radio Range (VOR), FAA-E-37012, Tactical Air Navigation (TACAN) Transponder System, FAA-E-7870. These performance specifications may be used in future procurements. Update 18: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is releasing additional technical drawings in response to industry request. The FAA is not seeking comment or input on these drawings. There are no additional updates to the DVT Sustainment Program at this time.
