This is a notice of award for a Firm-Fixed Price BPA Call against the Carahsoft Technology Corp BPA #N66001-21-A-0031 on DOW's Enterprise Sourcing Initiative (ESI). This action was not competed as IAW FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), “The item is peculiar to one manufacturer. A brand name item, whether available on one or more schedule contracts, is an item peculiar to one manufacturer”. The DoD Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) is a mandatory source for the purchase of software IAW DFARS 208.7402(1). Decision Lens is the only software found with the full capabilities needed and Carahsoft is the only authorized reseller on the DOW ESI BPA list.
