The VA Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to issue a single source procurement to CareFusion Solutions LLC who is the equipment OEM authorized service representative. Proposed services contract is for Support and Services of Pyxis Equipment System, for a period of performance consisting of a base year, plus four one-year option periods. Due to the proprietary nature of the equipment, a manufacturer certified service technician is required to provide the services. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 811210 with a business size standard of $34.0 Million and PSC J065 Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment: Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).
