The North Dakota Air National Guard intends to award a standalone firm-fixed-price sole-source Architect-Engineer contract to Zerr Berg Architects, Inc. for Type C construction-phase services supporting a previously designed installation access-control infrastructure upgrade in Fargo, North Dakota. The authority for this action is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The intended awardee is the project’s original Designer of Record and previously performed the Type A and Type B services for the project. The requirement includes construction-phase technical support, design-related clarification, critical-submittal review, periodic inspections, modification support, testing support, record-drawing support, and project closeout documentation.
