The purpose of this notice is to provide a record of the government’s decision to not solicit further competition. Nature of the Solicitation: This is a sole-source procurement for a 12-month maintenance service contract for the IP6500 VACIS non-intrusive inspection scanner. The contract covers a one-year period of performance. Basis for Sole Source: The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S. Code 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 13.106(b).
