CO NP MEVE 201(1) CEDAR TREE TOWER ROAD AND PARKING PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project improvements are within Mesa Verde National Park in Cortez, Colorado. This resurfacing, restoration, and rehabilitation (3R) roadway, parking lot, and lagging wall improvement project spans spanning across 11 locations in Mesa Verde. The elevations range from 6954 to 8062-feet. The project has one Schedule A (4.7 miles total) and Option X (0.2 miles). Pavement preservation includes crack seal, chip seal, fog seal existing paved shoulders, and striping, including a passing lane where it was left out previously. Retaining Wall Improvements: Remove and replace damaged timber lagging and existing steel soldier pile retaining wall, at 8 identified locations as shown in the contract drawings, and as directed by the Contracting Officer.
