This contract action was not awarded competitively. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis to Strategic Innovative Solutions, LLC to ensure continuity of vital statistics data coding services while a competitive follow-on acquisition is being completed. The Government determined that only the incumbent contractor could meet the Government’s immediate requirements during this interim period without unacceptable disruption to mission-critical operations, including delays associated with onboarding, training, and transition of specialized personnel.
