Vendor Questions Could the Government please confirm whether the expected service frequency is one (1) day per month? One day per month for instrument Sharpening and repair. Sterilizer Cleaning- 2 will need to be cleaned every four months (we currently get one free now). Can the Government clarify the approximate number of surgical instrument sets or trays that will require service during each scheduled visit? The majority of our instrument sets are very small. It is estimated that approximately 400-500 individual instruments would require service each month. Sections 4 and 5 reference various devices, including powered surgical instruments, cameras, electric/battery-powered devices, and pneumatic instruments. Could the Government confirm whether these device types are included in the scope of this solicitation or if this is for general surgical instrument set maintenance and repair only? The facility has a very small number of instruments that contain cameras, are electric/battery powered, and pneumatic.
