INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract to provide construction services for the Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Infrastructure Upgrades at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 820 S Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Jesse Brown VAMC is seeking a general contractor to provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and quality control for EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades. The project primarily includes the addition of telecommunication rooms (TR) throughout the following buildings: Damen, Atrium, Temp (32), Taylor, Ogden, and Bed Pavilion.
