Pursuant to FAR 15.201(e)- This is a Request for Information only. There is no solicitation package available. This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirements of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). This acquisition is for the Repair of the JetSCAN Oil Analyzer to provide extended annual scheduled maintenance service and repair support coverage for three (3) United States Marine Corps JetSCAN Oil Analysis Systems for the AV-8B Harrier, F-402 engine. The JetSCAN is used during regular inspections to prevent damage to aircraft engines by taking oil samples from the scavenge filter housing. The samples are tested for contamination particles to determine where the contaminated parts are located. The JetSCAN is used for on-site analysis for quick time response so aircraft down time is minimal. This acquisition is for one (1) year of support. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes and is issued in conformance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1; it does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB), a Request for Proposals (RFP), or a Request for Quotes (RFQ).
