Combined Synopsis/Solicitation NAICS 811210

The following notice is published for Informational Purposes Only. This is not a request by the Government for submittal of proposals or quotes of any kind. The Government intends to issue, on a Sole Source basis, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Viasat Inc., 13135 Winged Foot LN Germantown, Maryland 20874-2899, in an effort to procure pedestal/antenna upgrade components and services in support of the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) Aircraft Signature & Avionics Measurement Branch (ASAM). The resultant contract will be a FFP, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a Five-Year ordering period for the maintenance of existing pedestals, purchase of new pedestals and upgrades, and for an acquisition channel to purchase spares or repairs within a minimum among of time when time is a critical element. This acquisition is being procured on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements.
