Special Notice Page 4 of 4 Page 4 of 4 Page 1 of 4 Page 1 of 2 PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Regional Procurement Office West (RPOW), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Olympus America Inc., located at 3500 Corporate Pkwy, Center Valley, PA 18034. The VA Southern Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS), at 6900 North Pecos Road, North Las Vegas, Nevada 89086 has a requirement for a lease of equipment and equipment maintenance and repair services. The ENT equipment will be used for veterans who are beneficiaries of VASNHCS that need thoracic and endobronchial surgeries. The scope of work includes leasing ENT equipment and providing maintenance/repair services for the equipment. The equipment will be used for patients who are cardiothoracic cases and beneficiaries of VASNHCS.
