The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Big Spring, Texas intends to make a single award to a responsible entity for the provision to replace the existing inoperable 2000-amp GE Power Break Switch with a new power break switch compatible with the existing switchboard. The existing breaker to be replaced is a General Electric, Power Break I, Serial# V1011576 Catalog No TP2020SS mounted in a General Electric AV-Line Switchboard with a General Electric Type 3R Enclosure. QUALITY ASSURANCE/INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: All work performed on this project shall comply with the attached drawings & specifications, NFPA 70, National Electrical Code, manufacturer's specifications and industry standards. Installer Qualifications: A licensed electrician, licensed by the State of Texas.
