This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of small businesses to meet the requirements listed below. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10, is seeking sources to provide bulk granular water softener salt under a 5-year firm-fixed price contract with the Battle Creek VA Medical Center located at 5500 Armstrong Road, Battle Creek, MI 49037. The anticipated period of performance is December 1, 2025 - November 30, 2030. Salt currently being used is Granulated Industrial YPS Bulk NSF 60 . Salt must include a YPS anti-caking agent. It is estimated that up to 170 tons of bulk water softener salt will be ordered each year, delivered in an estimated 28 tons bi-monthly.
