The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, In Service Vessel Sustainment branch has a requirement to procure components to support the Government installation of the Coast Guard Machinery Propulsion System to be installed on a 175 WLM Keeper Class Buoy Tenders during their scheduled Major Maintenance Availability (MMA). Vendor shall be required to package components into one (1) kit. The main components and quantities included in the kit are indeitifed in Attachment 1. It is the Governments belief that these components can only be procured from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Rockwell Automation. The Government does not possess the technical and engineering data required to evaluate alternate part numbers. All technical and engineering data is proprietary to the OEM. However, firms that have the capability of obtaining these components can submit their capabilities within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date this notice is posted.
