N00164-25-Q-0774 SOLE SOURCE - CYCLOTRON BEAM FACILITIES SERVICE FSG B529 - NAICS 541380 ISSUE DATE 25 SEP 2025 CLOSING DATE 30 SEPT 2025 10:00 AM Eastern Time ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for the use of cyclotron facility research services in support of radiation component testing. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT- The proposed contract action is for the supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Texas A&M University Cyclotron, 3366 Tamu, College Sta, Texas 77843-0001under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This is being solicited on a sole source because TAMU is the only known source capable of providing cyclotron beam facility services that meets the governments minimum requirements. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government.
