This justification is based on the unique capabilities and supplies offered exclusively by a single contractor. The proposed Sole Source award is for the provision of Maintenance and software updates for four quadrepedal unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), Vision 60 Q-UGV. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under this requirement is FAR 2.101, FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).In accordance FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold.
