This is a sole source request to Anata Inc After conducting market research, the intended contractor, Anata, is the source best-suited to provide the specific AI/LLM-driven redaction software and associated services required for the agency’s pilot program. The redaction technology developed by Anata incorporates proprietary large language models, is trained on specialized, HHS-specific records and data sets, and optimized specifically for identifying and redacting sensitive information in accordance with federal privacy and disclosure laws. The contractor owns and maintains exclusive rights to a redaction engine that integrates LLMs capable of high-accuracy semantic recognition, including nuanced classifications such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), law enforcement sensitive data, and legal exemptions under FOIA. No other vendor has access to this proprietary technology or models.
