NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tobyhanna Division, Tobyhanna, PA 18466 intends to award a sole source contract to UI Labs DBA MxD USA, 1415 North Cherry Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642. This requirement is for a non-personal services contract to provide technical advisory services to support the establishment of a production capability for Unscrewed Aircraft System (UAS) motors and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) at Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA. The contractor will assess production requirements specific to UAS motors and CCAs, recommend an optimized production floor layout to maximize throughput, efficiency, and integration of digital manufacturing best practice, and evaluate and recommend production equipment necessary to establish a modern, scalable manufacturing capability. The Government intends to acquire this service under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items.
