PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENT TO AWARD ON A SOLE SOURCE BASIS TO BLUE RIDGE RESEARCH AND CONSULTING, LLC, 29 N MARKET ST STE 700, ASHEVILLE, NC 28801. RELATED NOTICE IN SAM.GOV # N6247025Q0024 Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source contract to Blue Ridge Research and Consulting, LLC to provide a custom-designed sonic boom noise monitor (SBM) system in support of a noise mitigation requirement for the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) / NAWCAD Sustainability Office at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1(a), only one responsible source exists, and no other contractors are capable of satisfying agency requirements. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation documentation exists, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.
