The Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) provides medical care throughout a wide range of environments including the various roles of care in the military theater. The JMCIP shall deliver fluids, blood products, medications and nutrients into the patient in-garrison, at remote, deployed locations and during en-route care (ERC) operations. The JMCIP shall possess three or more channels manufactured in one device. Each line shall deliver a separate drug and mitigate incompatibility and drug sequencing concerns. This solution will enhance the United States Air Forces (USAF) ability to deliver a wide range of fluids from various containers to accomplish multiple infusions.
